OTTAVIA RAUSA

Ottavia Rausa studied Violin and Viola at the Conservatoire of Novara and attended several courses at Academia Menuhin of Alberto Lysi in Blonay (Switzerland). She then studied Baroque Viola for one year with Carlo De Martini and later on both viola for two years and violin for one year with Enrico Gatti.
She currently performs with Academia Montis Regalis, Ensemble Baroque de Nice, La Venexiana, Ensemble Aurora, Harmonices Mundi (Bolzano), Teatro Litta (Milano), Musica Rara (Milano), Accademia del Santo Spirito (Torino) and took part in several projects under the baton of conductors as Jean Claude Malgoire, Simon Preston, Gilbert Bezzina, Gordon Murray, Claudio Astronio, Amandine Beyer, François Fernandez, Enrico Onofri, Dan Laurin, Enrico Gatti, Luigi Mangiocavallo, Ton Koopman.
